Oh, I figured it out: You need to hit him with the SoL, like Ishutal. I don't know why though... o.O He still absorbs every element, though, I believe. And has godly stats. (Everything except AGI on Evil is 999, his HP is 99999, his MP is 1. Pants has 3996 on everything except AGI, and has 99999 HP and 9999 MP) So...hm. I'll wait until I'm level 99, I guess.

Yay, I fought the evil pants! (And failed, obviously. :p) How are you supposed to beat him, exactly? He regens for 9999 every turn, I believe, and I can't seem to damage him at all. :/ What's the difference between "Evil" and "Pants"? What do they do? Feh. At the very least, I have a spot to level up! :D (The stairs go on for ages, though, sigh...)

Yeah, Alter AILA is awesomeness! :D The only problems I had were that everyone (even Celia) had pathetically little choice in their skills, (and only three were really worth using; Leon, Erin, and Celia were awesome; Jake and Indy SUCKED, and Violet had a good final weapon but not a good ability) and the fact that we had to play through three inane and extremely similar storylines before we got the real story. Neok's fixing both those problems in Variant/Genesis, though. :D

And do you have an idea of how far you've gotten? Like, how finished is the game? (Like, say, "20% or so") You probably don't know how big the end product is going to be, so I doubt you'll be able to say for sure, but... :/

Actually, Harmonic says it's 40-50 hours of gameplay... :p Most of that's spent leveling up and taking on the final sidequests at the end of the game.
